As we're in the midst of summer this year, so many things are happening in the world. We've all been through a lot over the past several months, waiting for things to clear up. We know how tough it is out there, and we want to send some positive vibes and thoughts your way. If there's anything we can do to help, feel free to reach out to us. We'll always try our best to provide some comfort, advice, or support during these trying times.
July is a relatively busy month on our end and with all of the chaos going on, we'd love to share some amazing things that are happening behind the scenes. So without further ado, here are some updates and announcements regarding the Garett Sharp website & team.
First, I would personally like to thank all of those who have been supporting and pre-ordering my upcoming book, Heal My Wounds. As the release date is just two weeks away, I am especially excited to begin shipping all of the pre-orders very soon. The support has been overwhelming and for that, I am so grateful.
Secondly, over the next several weeks the web-development team will be implementing new features and an updated design to the website that will open many doors in relations to how our members and customers interact with the website itself, as well as other members. However, to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the same new features, we've had to completely reset our user database. This means that if you've had an account with us, it has likely been deleted and you will need to sign up for an account again. I know this can be frustrating. When I was told that this was a necessary step in the updating process, I wasn't excited about it, either. However, for progress to be made, sometimes we have to take a step back.
Additionally, we have some exciting announcements to make regarding the features and updates that we're making. I can't share them all with you just yet, but I just couldn't wait to share the most important ones. Like I mentioned before, times are tough right now. This is why we have all decided to implement something that will allow our customers to still buy things from our store while saving money. I personally know that saving money right now is a must and this is the motivation for this update.
Later this month, we're introducing Book Club Rewards. Book Club Rewards is a program created for our loyal customers and members alike. With each purchase, customers will receive points. In fact, for every $1 you spend, you'll get 2 Points. You will also receive additional points on your birthday and for following us on Instagram and Twitter. These points can be easily redeemed for coupon codes that you'll use at checkout. But the main question is how does this help you save money right now? I'm glad you asked! Every person who signs up for an account on garettsharp.com during the first two weeks of its release will get 200 points to kickstart the program. It's our way of saying thank you for all of the support.
Book Club Rewards is a huge feature for garettsharp.com, but we're also going to be updating the sign-up process to make it simpler and easier on the eyes. During the discussions with the team, I've also made it a point to integrate more interactivity between members. Allowing communication, sharing, and more. This week, we will also be implementing new ways to find other members, chat with them, and even open up a community of readers and writers alike. We want to spread creativity and positivity in a safe place. I can't wait to see the community grow into something beautiful.
Building on top of the creativity and support that I see from many of you, I want to offer members a place to access exclusive content and downloads for free. This spans from poetry, phone wallpapers, and other awesome freebies that I cannot wait to show you! We'll roll this feature out later this month as well.
Finally, I want to thank you all, yet again, for the constant and undying support throughout this emotional journey. I look forward to everything that's happening next and I hope you do as well. Remember to stay healthy, balanced, and mindful.
With much love and gratitude,
– Garett Sharp
