Garett is a 26-year-old poet who began sharing his work at seventeen with his debut collection Imperfect World on Wattpad, which quickly reached thousands of readers. In 2020, he self-published his first poetry book, Heal My Wounds. Garett’s writing explores themes of love, loss, anxiety, trauma, and healing. Through poetry, he aim to connect with others and help people feel a little less alone.
Garett Sharp has also written and recorded spoken word poems that are available to stream on popular platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and more. Slip, a spoken word single Garett released in January 2020, explores the complexities of human emotion and the internal struggle of finding solace and gratitude amid feelings of loneliness and despair; the piece is vulnerable and real, using stark imagery and measured cadence to invite listeners into an intimate reckoning with loss, resilience, and the small, quiet moments that sustain us.
